88R at The Village                                                                             Los Angeles' The Village recently installed a new Neve 88R analog console in the facility's Studio D. Jeff Greenberg, CEO of The Village, had his sights set on the new console since he and his crew conducted a listening test on one of the modules for the desk nearly a year ago. "We were all blown away", said Greenberg. "The sound of the 88R is unbelievable. While some of our music clients prefer the sound of the vintage Neve 8048 in Studio A they'd also like to work in the larger Studio D. Now they can have both room size and superior sound".
